Discover Handcrafted Spirits in the Cotswolds

Nestled among rolling hills and honey-stone villages, The Cotswolds Distillery is one of England’s finest artisan spirit producers. Established in 2014, it became the first full-scale distillery in the Cotswolds, known for its award-winning single malt whisky, dry gin, and liqueurs — all made with locally sourced ingredients and meticulous care.

Whether you’re a whisky enthusiast, gin lover, or curious traveller, this countryside destination offers a warm welcome — and a few unforgettable sips.

From Field to Bottle: The Spirit of Craft

The Cotswolds Distillery was founded by Dan Szor, who set out to create a spirit that captured the essence of the region. Using Cotswold-grown barley, pure water, and traditional copper stills, the team produces spirits full of character and integrity.

Everything is done on-site — from milling and fermenting to distilling and bottling — ensuring complete traceability and authentic craftsmanship in every drop.

Award-Winning Spirits
Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky

Made using 100% locally grown barley, floor-malted and double-distilled on site. Matured in ex-bourbon and red wine casks, it delivers rich, fruity notes with hints of honey and spice — a true English classic.

Cotswolds Dry Gin

Crafted with nine carefully selected botanicals, including lavender, grapefruit, and bay leaf. The result? A bold, aromatic gin with a distinctive cloudiness when mixed — proof of its purity and essential oils.

Other Creations

The distillery also produces cream liqueurs, amaro, and wildflower gins, each inspired by the surrounding landscape. Seasonal limited releases make every visit unique.
